Helsinki Design Week On Thursday the 14th of September 10.30 am-12 pm and 1.30-3 pm audience members will have the chance to have a discussion with one of the most famous interior architects in Sweden, Professor “Stol” Åke Andersson. He has designed more than 200 different chairs. Last year Åke received Bildkonstnärsfond’s Stora Stipendium. Also present at this event will be Gabriella Gustafson and Mattias Ståhlbom, TAF Arkitektkontor. This year they received the prestigious Bruno Mathsson prize and have previously won the Årets Designer and Årets Möbel prizes in Sweden.
At the same time, you can enjoy the Hilkan Showcase containing products from the Swedish brands Karl Andersson & Söner, Gärsnäs and Örsjö Belysning.
