Tell us about Frame
Frame is a cabinet system with cupboards, shelving, drawers and several different tables. Its distinguishing characteristics are the neat measurements and the finely crafted detailing – a manifestation of Gärsnäs skills. The handgrips and the mitred corners tell of serious cabinet making.
Where does your inspiration come from?
Art inspires colour and form. I’m also inspired by good craftsmanship and fine detailing.
How do you sketch?
I always start pencil in hand, often using yellow Post-It sticky notes, and then I carry on sketching with the computer.
Is there some project you dream of getting?
I think I’ve done my dream project already. A metro library for the Stockholm City Library.
What makes a good interior?
Being permeated by commitment and empathy and serving its purpose.
