POP NOUVEAU MODULAR SOFA
For 10 years, our Pop sofa has been a faithful favourite of public environments: a flexible, slim modular sofa, available in various shapes, colours and materials. It has that pop feeling, transferred to a piece of furniture. The designers are Pierre Sindre and Patrik Bengtsson. Now we are launching Pop Nouveau, an updated version of an old favourite.
“We wanted to make it softer. Pop Nouveau feels a little less institutional,” says Pierre Sindre.
The public environment has shifted towards more cosy relaxation. New routines, working from home and other work conditions at the office have shifted focus to home comforts and convenience; environments where we hang around and work, with boundaries shifting between the public and private. Pop Nouveau suits this landscape.
The sofa has been given new plush cushions. “It’s fluffier, a wavy surface, kinder and friendlier,” says Sindre. “At the same time, it has more of that wooden touch, that Gärsnäs feeling.” You know what we are talking about.
