Japanese porcelain lamps at Gärsnäs. For the first time in Europe, we are proud to present Tobimatsu Toki, stylish porcelain lightware developed by Hirotaka Tobimatsu, one of Japan’s most acclaimed ceramic artists. More than 30 various lamp models and lampshades will glow magically at the House of Gärsnäs on Skeppsholmen. Inspiration comes from the “milk glass lamps” that were popular in Japan during the early 20th century. Based on the beautiful, warm light of the old lamps, Tobimatsu developed his lamp globes for modern interiors. This lamp debut is a collaboration with Japan Form, the agent for Tobimatsu Toki.
The lamps have their premiere during Stockholm Design Week, 5 – 11 February.
