Finesse and flexibility. Gärsnäs has both slimmed down and gone big at this year’s Furniture Fair. We are here again, participating, but in a modern way, where the elegance and feeling of our furniture goes hand in hand with environmental considerations and adaptability.
“We simply don’t need to build up towns of superfluous excess and then throw everything away. We can do it our own way,” says Pierre Sindre, who has designed this year’s booth as an attractive, scaled-down meeting place, suited to the times. “Gärsnäs is an elegant brand with a long history and our wooden furniture fits a more humble presentation. It feels fresh, while remaining sensible and modest.”
We proudly present Zen New York, which we made for the UN Headquarters in New York, as well as Vyn and Simris, originally made for Daniel Berlin’s fine-dining restaurant Vyn in Österlen. Pierre Sindre and Patrik Bengtsson shows the updated Pop modular sofa, Pop Nouveau.
Ronja, David Ericsson’s little, basic chair made entirely of materials from southern Sweden, Meanwhile, our Riksdagen and Day chairs want to demonstrate how good Gärsnäs is at renovating our existing furniture. And there is a proper bar counter of beech – a wood with honourable significance for Gärsnäs – reused from a previous fair. It works wonderfully well and that’s how we do it now. All are welcome to discover and stay in the Gärsnäs world of furniture.
